Audience Engagement Officer
£24,496 to £26,357 (depending on experience) per annum. 35 hrs per week, hybrid office & home working within a flexitime contract.
Live & Local is a not-for-profit organisation with over 30 years' experience of bringing great live shows, community cinema and creative participation activities to rural areas in the Midlands.
We are looking for a person to be responsible for managing and implementing the audience engagement and marketing plans for all Live & Local programmes and to maintain a positive brand image of Live & Local across all our stakeholders.
You will use a mix of traditional, digital and engagement marketing channels to support our network of local voluntary organisations as well as supporting our remote community engagement team and also manage our Marketing and Publicity Assistant.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing programs that drive engagement for arts or cultural activities. An individual with excellent creative and problem-solving skills, a high level of computer skills and with a ‘self-starter’ attitude and a passion for equality in the arts and culture.

DART Day in Staffordshire!
Are you or do you consider yourself to be a professional arts organisation or performer?
Do you ideally live or work in the Midlands?
Have you considered rural touring?
Then please read on!
The next DART day will take place at The Brewhouse Arts Centre in Burton on Trent on Wednesday 18th October from 10am to 4pm.
We are running a whole day for performing artists and arts organisations to find out about opportunities to tour performances in rural locations with Live & Local and the wider rural touring networks. At the event you will get to meet our friendly and helpful staff, performers and promoters as well as having an opportunity to tell us about yourselves. We are prioritising those artists who work or are based in the Midlands. You could be a musician, dancer, spoken word artist or theatre maker.
Details of the Day
There are 12 places available and we will fund each company £150 to come along. We’ll treat you to lunch and refreshments.

Please note we will be inviting attendees to a show at a later date as our guests. This show is likely to take place in Staffordshire.
